Rigged Elections, Anyone?

I thought that’s what was supposed to be happening. Didn’t we hear of problems here?  Of machine malfunctions there?  Of having to revert to paper ballots elsewhere? Didn’t some guy leave some polling equipment in his car? Didn’t people get turned away from the polls? Weren’t some polls kept open past the designated closing time?

Where have all the lawyers gone? Long time passing…

Where are all the re-counts, now? To take such a long, long time…

Several races decided by fractional percent…must be some problems there…

When will they ever learn? When will they ever learn?

Isn’t this what we had to endure during the past three elections when things did not go well for the Democrats? While the “real” Republicans may have been too stupid and timid to tell us voters loudly and clearly what they stood for, and how we’ve benefited from their previous good deeds, at least they still had the integrity as conservatives to be good losers.

I do not include the President among these people, for he’s not a conservative. And, now that he has a like-minded Congress, he is signaling that he’s more than ready to get on with the Democrat’s agenda in a spirit of bi-partisan cooperation. I wrote him an email back on election night in 2001 congratulating him on his victory, but telling him that certain things I’ve heard about him gave me reason to believe that he might be a wolf in sheep’s clothing — but, that I hope it’s all a lie. It wasn’t.
